This task was to create an animated version of your collage using any technique or software you like, the main programmes i used to create this was Animation Desk and Power Director.
Instead of making some of the objects move, I decided to go for a different approach and animate a seagull flying around the collage. This was pretty simple to create as I only needed a total of 5 different frames to make the seagull come to life. The layers of the seagull did take time however but that was mainly because I wasn’t too sure about the style at first. After I made the seagull move I set the background colour to a green, this was so I could chroma key the video into the collage.
The most difficult part of this was probably making the seagull look like it was flying around the collage because I had to move it frame by frame kind of like stop motion within the imagery.
Once I was happy with that I decided to add some zoomed in sections to the animation to focus on the seagull in areas of the collage, this was added with a few sound effects in the mix.

Overall I am happy with the result of this animation, its pretty traditional with the stop motion drawn approach with the added sound effects. Making this was no problem really as I use to be a video editor for a family friendly channel and also for my own artwork.
