Within this post, I shall be showing my development of making the animations with its ideas within Maya.
Sequence –
To begin I chose the best scene from the sketches and videos, being the hammer swing and started the development of keyframing within the software.

Walking Cycle Sequence –
Here I have experimented with creating another sequence, alongside the original, showing a walking cycle loop for the character, guided by my sketchbook.

To generate this cycle I used Maya and keyframes sections using the first walk cycles map as a reference, this helped me re-position my character quickly and conveniently.
For the animations and visual effects within this sequence, I used Adobe After effects, changing the opacities of texts and shapes to create transitions.
After completing the other 2 scenes I decided to scrap both ideas because I wasn’t too happy with the way they looked, this was mainly due to them being made within a short amount of time.
I soon went on and started a fresh and new sequence for the animation with better direction and guidance from my visual video references.
In the next post, I shall be posting the very final results for the animation as a whole.
