Flasks:
All of the flasks here was created using the same method and steps in 2 parts each, first starting off with the glass base of the body. To achieve this, I increased the weight of the object that would look fitting to each type of flask with the correct roughness. Most of my roughness was low to let some of the flask colour show more, the second flask is an example of with nearly no roughness. Colour in the flasks had a tint of grey to it, I tried using white but that ended up making the object looking too bright. An Artificial leather material was used for the top of the caps in a dark grey/black tone. This was then coated in small brown particles differing in opacity to create a used dirt detail. The underneath of the caps were made to have the sort of texture like bungs, sprayed and layered lightly in shades of oranges.

Wooden Jar:
This asset had to be textured into 2 parts, one being the body and the other the lid.
For the base, I started off by adding a darkened, “Wooden Walnut” material. By making the base tone darker than usual I was hoping to achieve the appeal of dark spruce like material, this alone wouldn’t have been enough however so I created other layers on top of this using different brushes to make more woodwork details. The charcoal brush with about 65% opacity set helped create the worn elements in the wood, the opacity was changed depending on the area because I didn’t want the jar to be overpowered by the dark tones.

The rings around the jar were originally made with the material of Brass, the metalness of the material was too bold however so I increased the roughness and decreased the opacity slightly to create different tones. The colour set for the brass was a mixture of yellows to browns. By adding the yellows, it created a distinctive highlight between the darkness of the browns.
With the handle of the jar, I used the same material as the body but with less added mark making.

The lid was made with the base of the “Wooden Walnut” material, lighter than the body. I then created a new layer of a darker version of the material with decreased opacity so I could add a colour difference between the small handle.
