This article helped me gain a brief understanding of what UI/UX design has to offer and what is required to become a designer in the industry. All of the information given in this post seemed they useful I think, it explored some of the main principles of UX Design with added tips from the persons own experience. I chose this post because I was drawn to the title of “7 steps to becoming a UI/UX Designer,” I wondered whether it would have any strong points or tips that I needed to know, which it did end up delivering some ideas that could help me out in my own work.

Article 2:

Most Common UX Design Methods and Techniques | by Nick Babich | UX Planet

This article compared to the first digs into more detail of explaining a variety of helpful methods and techniques that are used in the UI/UX Design industry. The information given in this post is clearly laid out presented with lots of animated visuals and videos. I learned in this article a way to approach a product strategy and how to execute a plan further for development. It narrows down on a specific target audience, drawing focus on the product and consumer attributes. Overall I think this was a well written and useful article.

The ‘UI and UX Design’ Pocket Guide (Volume One) 📘 | by Marc Andrew | Design + Sketch | Medium

Looking through this article, I have found some useful tips to do with the subject of UI/UX Design. In this article, Marc Andrews explains some short points from his own experience working in the industry. Personally compared to the rest of the articles I’ve researched this was the least helpful as I felt like there was less detail and it sounded more from the writer’s perspective if there was some more factual information this would definitely improve the post I think.
