When creating this animation I built upon the small details, giving mostly everything its own meaning,” Essentially describes micro as the details that make up a whole”(Tufte, 1990) Starting with the hero image of the snowflakes creating a tree form, they end up lighting up as decoration similar to Christmas tree showing the magic of winter. Each of the snowflakes has a bauble carved into it with similar patterns but variate with colour later on, this is to show that they are similar but are different in a certain way, when they glow together it generates a warmth flow of colours. Pushing away the cold atmosphere within the winter background. The lighting within the animation also develops as the animation progresses, it begins darkly with a low intensity of light then gains brightness as the large snowflakes come together to create the tree with a harmonious blend of glowing colours.
