My area and focus for this project will be to create a range of character designs to support a campaign that helps fight against Deforestation, aiming toward a younger target audience. The outcome of this assignment shall be producing various materials that can help educate the cause to my audience, in an effective way.
Material Producing :
To make these materials I shall be using a range of mixed-media and software to build the designs. By doing this I am hoping to achieve greater content that can be narrowed down and refined for the final piece.
-3 different character design sheets, influenced by elements of the cause.
-3 poster design sheets, adding the characters into a poster format with a brand/identity attached tying things together.
-3 character model prototypes that can be placed into the real world, to be used on display in relation to the project and its characters.
All of these materials will develop equally with the same method, starting with a sketch in my book and then getting converted digitally onto the chosen software to be processed further. The final result can then be translated into reality as physical examples, which will also be presented in the end presentation.
